A Note From the Artist
I live in two worlds, one in which boundaries control who you are and what you can do. This world is one that is filled with constant inconsistencies of life’s ups and downs. Hardships are never too far behind and the constant thought of having to look behind you is a well known feeling. The second world I live in by far surpasses the first. In my second world, I am transported to a world of infinite possibilities. Possibilities in which I control and hold the future of. This world is a safe haven where I can capture my thoughts, feelings, and surroundings in one single moment. It is a place where I can let moments of pure happiness fill me up completely. I consider it my refuge, sanctuary and a home away from home. It is none the less, a passion and a heart felt passion at that. When I take a picture, to me it is not just a picture. It is a still delicate record. A record of feelings, thoughts and history. As you view my work, I pray that you drift away with me to this place of ultimate satisfaction. See colors and shapes in a way you’ve never experienced them before. Look deep into each individual piece and find yourself lost in your own world.
